You know those tasting notes you see on menus and labels for wine? Sometimes what's listed is a little obscure - I mean, does anyone really know what a gooseberry tastes like? Have you ever tasted one just before tasting a wine that supposedly has that note?

Well now's your chance!  Each week I will highlight a white and a red, and pair it with one item from the bouquet or tasting notes. Will you be able to detect it in the wine?  Or are tasting notes hogwash? You decide!
